Questions before you hop in?
How long is the Colombo tuk-tuk tour?
The standard private tour takes approximately three to four hours. You may also use up to one additional hour for optional shopping. Visiting the National Museum or spending longer inside paid attractions will extend the tour.
Is it a private tour?
Yes. The tuk-tuk is reserved for your booking and is not shared with unrelated travellers.
Are entrance tickets included?
No. Entrance tickets are paid separately, so you decide which attractions you want to enter. This includes Lotus Tower and applicable temple or museum tickets.
Can we customise the route?
Yes. The route can be adjusted around your interests where timing, traffic and opening hours allow.
Is shopping compulsory?
Never. Shopping is completely optional. Tell us if you would prefer a tour with no shopping stops.
What should we wear for temples?
Wear comfortable clothing that covers shoulders and knees. Footwear and headwear may need to be removed before entering certain religious areas.
What happens if it rains?
Light rain may not stop the experience. If conditions become unsafe or impractical, we will contact you to discuss the available options.
Can cruise passengers book?
Yes, subject to pickup access and sufficient return time. Please provide the ship name, arrival time, required return time and permitted meeting point.
